Originally from New Hampshire, I moved to Nashville in 2008 to study at Belmont University.
There I had the opportunity to study electronics under Electric Ladyland, Paisley Park,
and Ocean Way engineer Sal Grecco and met my eventual business partner Michael.
I graduated Belmont Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a B.S. in Audio Engineering Technology.
After spending two years doing freelance studio repair, Michael and I made our dining room projects a
reality going full time with RT ElecTRonix. With RT ElecTRonix we used our knowledge as audio engineers
and passion for guitar tone to create unique, hand-built, studio-quality effects debuting at
Summer NAMM in 2015.
Early projects quickly demanded a need for digital command and control,
so I bought an Arduino and went to work. What started as basic switching and control using the Arduino platform
eventually led me to Atmel Studio where I have rewritten many of the hardware libraries and written many more in C and C++.
Our latest projects have demanded a head first dive into the digital relm, where I have written MIDI drivers,
Delay and Reverb algorithms, and much more from scratch utilizing C and C++.
As our company and ambitions have grown, I have been spending more time in MySQL, PHP, and JavaScript not only maintaining
our web presence, but writing a custom REST API to support our data management needs and writing companion Web Apps
in JavaScript to interact with our custom hardware.
My passion for learning, doing-it-yourself, and endless quest for good tone have led me to an intimate understanding of
the full product development process, from hardware and circuit card design all the way through front end UI design
and everything in between. My future goals involve helping artists and creators realize their dreams by marrying
the soulful feeling and sound of the analog world to functionality of the interconnected realm,
providing my experience and know-how wherever it is needed along the way.
